This spectacular three week UCLA Travel Study Program takes students back in time through the study of ancient history, philosophy, culture, and the origins of Western Civilization. The program visits amazing sites such as Athens, Delphi, Olympia, Nauplion, Santorini, as well a cruise to the Greek Islands and Ephesos. The curriculum combines visits to archaeological sites, lectures, and the works of Homer, Plato, Sophocles, and Aristophanes. For more information click

History in Greece Program Correspondent

 

Birtu Belete is thrilled to serve as the Program Correspondent for the 2014 Greece Travel Study. Birtu, a self-proclaimed philhellene, is a Classical Civilizations major with a minor in Political Science. She is a member of Bruin Belles Service Association, Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, and Alumni Scholars Club. Other interests include cooking, photography, music festivals, costume design and construction, cats, and dragons.
